All of Faux Home’s artists and designers donate their time and services to support many causes in their communities. Here are just a few:

Building Homes For Heroes
Chapel Hill Service League
Chapel Hill/Carrboro City Schools
Eastern Alamance Schools
JP’s Caps for Courage
Ronald McDonald House
Super Cooper’s Little Red Wagon Foundation

In 2012, we were selected by Honeywell Inc. to do the $10,000 extreme classroom design make-over for an outstanding teacher in Greensboro NC, who won a nationwide contest for keeping children safe in school. We were able to purchase a smart board and supplies for the teacher, paint a mural, do some renovations to the room, add a reading center with a plush carpet and pillows for the children, and give the teacher a much needed storage armoire. It was an honor to work on this project!

In 2011 and 2012, we donated our painting skills to the Greater Chapel Hill Realtor’s Fix-A-Home project, which benefits a deserving family in our community. In 2012, we painted all of the dark wood kitchen cabinets a bright white for an updated clean look as shown in the before and after pictures below. It was quite a transformation!
