The featured article on faux painting in The Chapel Hill Magazine is highlighted below:
Southern Neighbor featured Faux Home in April, 2012 in an issue highlighting services for moving.
“Faux Home is a unique interior decorating studio specializing in home staging, color consultations, redesign services, custom faux finishes and furniture painting for residential and commercial clients. Whether you are moving in or moving out, we are passionate about your home showing at its very best.”
The Chapel Hill News asked area designers in December, 2011 to make a wish list for Santa. Only four area designers were featured from Chapel Hill and Durham. Faux Home was chosen as one of those designers. An excerpt from this article follows:
“Kitchen Renovation — As part of a kitchen renovation, the designers suggest updating cabinets and installing new countertops. An alternative to installing new cabinets is to have your cabinets painted and distressed, which costs a fraction of new cabinets. If you don’t want to change the look of your cabinets, consider a different finish on the kitchen island. The contrast between cabinets and the island is a popular look now and adds more interest to a kitchen. The designers also note that granite countertops are worth investing in as they remain extremely popular with homebuyers.”
